Most users know what an important role RAM plays in the entire computer system, because it is it that is partially responsible for the speed of the software environment, and the lack of its free volume due to overload or excessive use by useless services and processes often has a very negative effect on the entire the system as a whole. It is clear that it needs to be somehow released and unloaded from it unused components. But how? To do this, you will need some kind of program for optimizing RAM, since there are no such tools in Windows systems (although you can partially optimize the use of RAM, which will be discussed separately).
General principles of RAM optimization
First, let's define what exactly RAM optimization is. Each application and system-activated or user-activated process immediately places its own modules into RAM at startup (usually these are related executable components in the form of dynamic libraries). If, however, a program or a system service also uses some kind of "iron" equipment or virtual device during operation, the driver components necessary for their correct functioning are loaded into RAM, respectively.

Over time, when the filling of the available volume reaches a critical point, the threshold for which is set by Windows itself, virtual memory comes into play. Everything would be fine, but if you close some applications or stop using the necessary equipment, their components and drivers still remain dead weight. Even the use of virtual memory does not help matters (and usually even harms). Thus, any RAM optimization program on Windows 10 or lower systems must somehow unload resource-intensive components that are not currently in use.
How to optimize RAM using Windows?
Before considering specific examples of using specialized software, let's briefly dwell on the tools of Windows systems. It is for the optimization of RAM that there are no programs in any modification. However, you can use RAM testing tools or improve system performance by changing virtual memory settings (file sizepaging).
By default, the system sets the required size of the pagefile.sys component, which is responsible for the space allocated on the hard disk for the needs of virtual memory, automatically, which is not always positively displayed on the computer. If you set a very large VI size, programs and system services will ignore RAM, accessing the hard disk. But the speed of access to the HDD is much lower than to the RAM.

Thus, one of the solutions is to completely disable the paging file (with RAM volumes of the order of 8 GB and above, the VP can not be used at all, which is confirmed by numerous expert advice).
Narrowly targeted programs to optimize RAM
Now let's briefly dwell on third-party software products. Of course, it will not be possible to describe the absolute majority of programs for optimizing RAM purely physically, so we will consider narrowly focused utilities using the example of the Wise Memory Optimizer application, and also briefly dwell on applications of the class of optimizers (general-purpose accelerators), which also have similar modules in their toolkits.
The program for optimizing RAM WMO is perhaps one of the best and simplest, which can be de alt with by a user of any level of training. After the applet is installed and launched, the parameters window will display information about the occupied and unused amount of RAM.

By and large,to optimize, you just need to click the button below. If you need to use additional settings, in the settings section you can set a RAM load limit, upon reaching which the memory will be cleared automatically. But the default options can be left unchanged. You can also agree with the launch of the application along with the OS, so that the optimization is carried out constantly and without your participation.

Some optimizers also have their own auto-cleanup modules. For example, the Pro modification of the popular Advanced SystemCare application has such a module. It can be used in different ways. You can start cleaning once or automate the process. A huge plus of the program is that you can choose the required level of cleaning. If you do not have the necessary knowledge, it is better to leave the settings unchanged.

However, with knowledge of the matter, you can set a deep cleaning, simultaneously using additional options, which will best affect the performance of the entire computer system.
Naturally, there are a lot of programs in this direction today, and only two main examples were considered above. If you wish, you can use any other application that seems to you the most suitable and optimal solution. But anyway, regarding the advisability of using such utilities amongthere is no consensus among specialists.
