Alchemy is a valuable skill that will come in handy during the passage of the game. There are several ways to raise it - try ingredients whose effect is unknown; taking skill improvement lessons from characters in different cities, as well as making potions on your own, hoping for a positive result.
For potions, poisons and elixirs you will need various ingredients that have the appropriate properties. Each of them can contain four different properties. You can learn them only when preparing the elixir or during the tasting.

Troll fat in Skyrim is used as an alchemical ingredient. Its properties include:
- Resist Poison.
- Two-Handed Weapon Skill Boost.
- Rabies.
- He alth damage.
Poison resistance is useful when the character is fighting against frost spiders and other poisonous creatures. The poison takes a lot of he alth, dealing subsequent damage.
Upgrading the "Two-Handed Weapon" skill helps whenthe player uses this weapon, and the enemy is much stronger than the main character. In this case, the damage from the used weapon is increased.
Troll fat in Skyrim is one of the components of the Rabies poison and has this property. The enemy hit by this poison will attack everyone around - be it an enemy or an ally.

Trolls are very strong opponents and live mainly in caves or gorges. You can use fire damage against them - this is their weak point. According to the story, they can be found on the way to the Greybeards and in the ruins of Labyrinthian.

There is an East Empire Company Warehouse near Solitude where you can collect 17 pieces of this ingredient.
In Windhelm, fat is in the Calixto Museum of Antiquities, Sadri's Used Goods, Royal Palace.
Not far from Dawnstar is a fort, which in the old days was called the Temple of the Nightcallers. You can get there only on assignment and find a couple of pieces of troll fat. In Dawnstar itself, there is an alchemy shop where this ingredient is available.
Also, troll fat can be found in every estate that will be available to the main character when he is awarded the title of Thane. All ingredients will be available only after the purchase of the house and furnishings for it.
