It happens one day when you come home after a hard day at work, you want to surf the Internet, but instead a window pops up with the inscription "error 0x80070035, network path not found". However, do not despair, there is a way out.
What does error code 0x80070035 mean
Let's get it right. Error code 0x80070035 occurs due to the fact that the computer does not find the network path, that is, it cannot connect to the Internet. She might look like this:
There may be several reasons for the problem:
- IP address conflict;
- problems with the router;
- problems with the network card or its drivers;
- connection blocking by antivirus;
- provider problems.
Solving a failure like this isn't hard, it's worth taking a few simple steps.
IP address conflict
You can also see the error code 0x80070035 with the addition “IP address conflict”, but it may not be. This happens when a new computer joins the network and takes on an IP address that is reserved on another computer. Usually thishappens in organizations where all machines are connected to a common network, and addresses are distributed randomly. But it can happen to a home PC as well. The problem is solved by taking a different, free IP address.
On Windows 7, this is done as follows. We go to the control panel and follow the section "Network and Internet". There we click on “Network and Sharing Center”. In the right column, select “Change adapter settings”, after which we find the desired network connection and go to its properties. Select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the list. The address written down there is best written somewhere or photographed just in case.
Put a dot on the automatic receipt of the IP address and DNS server. We press OK. The connection should now resume. If this does not happen, we return the old IP back and then look for the reason.
Very often, error 0x80070035 occurs due to problems with the router. There are some models that can lose the network quite often. A simple reboot will help with this problem. The procedure is performed in two ways:
Through the admin panel. In the address bar of the browser, enter 192.168.1.1, after which we write the username and password for access. It can be found in the passport to the router. Very often the login and password are the same - admin. Next, you should find the reboot in the menu item (usually in the administration or system tools section)
Go torouter, turn it off, and after 5 seconds. enable
Sometimes it happens that the Internet resumes after the router is unplugged and turned on after 5 seconds. Worth a try if all else fails. If this connection failure appears again, then most likely the router is to blame.
Due to p-node mode
Another problem with 0x80070035 Windows 7 may be that the PC uses the p-node method to determine the resolution. You can check this as follows.
Go to “Start”, in the standard ones we find “Run” (or type the key combination Win + R). In the window that appears, enter the command "cmd". Type “ipconfig /all” into the command line and press Enter. If the report shows the node type as "peer", then the computer is in p-node mode. You can change this in the register.
You will need the same “Run” program. In it, enter the command “regedit”, after which the window for editing the register will open. Then we go the following way: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE// System// CurrentControlSet// Service// NetBT //Parameters. In this folder, remove the DhcpNodeType and Node Type values, after which you need to restart the computer.
It happens that the network connection is blocked by the antivirus, causing the code “0x80070035: network path not found”. This is mainly done by such well-known programs as Kaspersky and NOD32. You can check this by temporarily disabling your antivirus. If after that the Internet appeared, then you should go into the antivirus programand disable internet traffic control. Or change the program itself. Fortunately, there are plenty of them on the web, including free ones.
Sometimes error code 0x80070035 happens due to a problem in the network card driver. You can see this in Device Manager. You can find it by going to the properties of my computer. A window will open, in the left panel of which you need to select the “Device Manager” item. Open the list “Network adapters”.
If there is a yellow exclamation mark on the network card driver, then it needs to be fixed, updated or reinstalled. The driver can be found on the website of the board manufacturer or the PC itself (if it is a laptop).
Problems with the provider
Don't forget your network service provider. The problem may be somewhere on the line, although this happens extremely rarely. Therefore, if everything has already been tried and nothing helps, you should call the technical support of your provider and find out why there is no network connection. Usually they notify about all technical work in advance, however, problems can arise out of the blue.
Unable to connect to remote printer
It is very convenient to have a connection to a remote printer. There are enough advantages: no need to connect it directly when there is not enough space anyway, and no need to run from computer to computer with a USB flash drive to print. However, the network error 0x80070035 already known to us can also occur in this case.
The first step is to make sure the printer isturned on and the computer is started and in a ready state (not in sleep or standby mode). Then we check the availability of the Internet. It is clear that without it you cannot connect to the device. Next, you need to check the printer settings. To do this, on the computer connected to the printer, go to “Start”, in the right menu, click on “Devices and Printers”. We right-click on the desired device and click “Printer Properties” (located approximately in the middle). In the window that appears, go to the "Access" section. Here we look to see if there is a shared access, if the network name matches.
If everything is in order there, but the error code 0x80070035 has not disappeared, go to the Control Panel. We go to “Network and Internet”, where you need to go to the “Change advanced sharing settings” section. There you need to enable data and printer sharing, network environment.
If that doesn't help, then you should uninstall this printer and reinstall it.
This problem is not that difficult, and is usually solved by switching to automatically obtain an IP address or by rebooting the router. But if the two simple methods described did not help, then it is worth delving into the solution of the problem.
