Nuclear bombs have been replaced by virus breeding grounds, spraying an infection over a vast territory that affects all living things. For the most part, Prototype's walkthrough will be based around similar manipulations with experimental weapons. And not only, but also in the game with human life.
Level Up
Alex Mercer, the protagonist of the game Prototype, the passage of which will offer the user to get acquainted with his abilities and capabilities, works in one of the largest firms specializing in biotechnology. It is this company that develops some gene-modifying viruses, as a result of which a person is endowed with incredible strength, cruelty, or heightened senses of smell and touch. The species diversity of such injections in the Prototype game, the passage of which involves a collision with various types of mutated creatures, is great. Alex becomes one of the guinea pigs who are injected with the virus. After that, he wakes up on some table, not somewhere in a hospital or in a science center, but in a morgue. The hero realizes that he has partial amnesia after taking the drug (as he progresses, the memory will return). But there is no time to think! Alex leaves the morgue and observes a horrific picture - New York is in chaos: the epidemic has become massive, the military is shooting the supposed hotbeds of infection, and the government itself is appointing a hunt for them. This is exactly what makes the Prototype game interesting, the passage of which involves skirmishes with various groups and varieties of opponents.

Despite all this, Alex gains immense power at his disposal, capable of transforming his limbs into weapons of mass destruction (arms and legs in this case). Allresearch operation on his body and further hunting got its unique name - Prototype. The passage of the game will be based mainly on battles with mutated creatures that have various abilities at their disposal. But the military does not stand aside - and Alex will have a rather tense relationship with them. With each increase in the level of the main character, the user is given the opportunity to discover a new unique ability or technique, the number of which is quite large. The ability to fly, the destruction of dozens of opponents with one ferocious blow of the hammer hand, the breaking of the earth's surface, super strength and much more will help Alex resist whole hordes of enemies. The passage of the game Prototype-2 will be a logical continuation of the first part.
