One of WoW's largest dungeon complexes, Tempest Keep, has arrived in the Burning Crusade app. Passing all the instances in this location today is not as difficult as it was when the patch for 70 levels was released. Consider what Tempest Keep is and where it is located.
How did the Fortress appear?
According to the story told by the developers of the game, the impregnable floating fortress was the result of the latest technical developments of the mysterious people of the Naaru, who by its creation achieved the fall of Draenor - the homeland and refuge of the Draenei. In fact, it was thanks to this fortress that such a WoW gaming zone as Outland appeared. The Naaru were originally intended to use Tempest Keep as their base from which they could launch devastating raids against the opposing Burning Legion.
The huge ship, resembling a space station, could teleport to other dimensions along with the warriors in it. However, after the Naaru carelessly descended into Outland territory, the flying bastion was captured by Prince Kael, thas and his minions, inas a result, Tempest Keep was turned by him only into a means of extracting chaotic energy from the Netherstorm.
When viewed from the side, the structure looks like a cluster of ships of different sizes. Each of them contains dungeons of various difficulty levels, and in the central, largest part of the floating fortress, there is a raid dungeon called the Eye. It is here that players who have reached level 70 seek to get to get the best armor, as well as try their luck and knock out the magnificent mount - hawk phoenix from the first boss Al, ara. From it you can also get a combat pet - a phoenix cub. In addition, a variety of T5 armor sets for all classes can be looted in the raid dungeon, which can also be used for transmog.
On the side platforms of Tempest Keep you can find the entrances to Botanica, Mechanar and Arcatraz - dungeons that will not be difficult for 5 players to pass. These are probably the best places to farm huge amounts of Runecloth or Netherweave, as well as fill bags with Outland herbs.
Tempest Keep location on the map
To understand where the Tempest Keep is located, just expand the map of Outland and examine its upper right part - the Netherstorm. It is in this zone, on its eastern outskirts, that the dungeon complex is located. When approaching the fortress, you can navigate not only directly on the map, but also through transparent pipes with chaos energy flowing through them, whichstretched almost throughout the location.
How to get to Tempest Keep?
Getting into Tempest Keep isn't that hard. The first way is to get to the Netherstorm zone on your own in a flying vehicle. To do this, you need to get to the capital of Outland Shattrath and fly out of it to the north through Zangarmarsh and Blade's Edge Mountains, and then turn east. If the character has already learned routes through Outland, you can contact the nearest flight manager at any point in the location and buy a flight to the Space Gate. This settlement is located right next to Tempest Keep.
The second way to get to Tempest Keep is through the Outland portal in Stormwind or Orgrimmar. After the character is in Hellfire Peninsula, you can again buy flight from the wind rider tamer or go to the Netherstorm on your own with your own flying mount.
