Account owners in the popular social network Facebook very often want to share some music track with their friends. However, as practice shows, it is not so easy to do this, especially if the composition is saved on your own computer or mobile device. How to add music to Facebook will be discussed further. There are several ways to do this.
Can I add music to Facebook?
In principle, if we consider music not only audio formats, but also video, there should not be any particular difficulties here. But with tracks, say, in MP3, the situation is not so simple.

The fact is that uploading a song from a computer or mobile device in any of the known audio formats to the “wall” is simply impossible, since such a possibility was not provided initially. But if you approach the issue from a practical point of view, such a restriction can be bypassed.
Music on Facebook: how to add a track to a message?
The easiest way to send audio tracks to friends is via messages. The method, of course, will require a lot of time to send, but it is this technique that is the simplest.

How to add music to Facebook in such a situation? Easy peasy! Choose a friend to send a message, press the add file button marked with a paper clip, specify the location of the audio track on your hard drive or removable media, and send. After downloading, the sent message will display the track name and a mini-panel for listening.
The method, of course, is not very convenient, since only those of your friends to whom messages have been sent will be able to listen to the song. To make the track available to all users, you need to make a publication on the "wall". At the same time, the composition, if security restrictions are not set, will be able to listen not only to friends, but also to all other users who enter your page, or friends of friends who do not know you.
Adding music to the "wall" using links
You can add tracks to the "wall" in several ways. The classical method can be considered as publishing links to music on the Internet, using special additional applications, which, by the way, also allow publishing links to their own databases and converting audio to video.

Let's consider the first two options. How to add music to Facebook on the "wall"? You just need to go to the site with music tracks, choose the one you like, copy the link and pastepublish it.
In some cases, when it comes to specialized resources on the Internet, which are just designed to publish musical compositions and albums, it is absolutely not necessary to copy links.

In such a situation, it is enough to simply enter the site using your own registration on a social network, select a track or album, and then, as in many other cases, use the "Share" button. The entry will appear in the publication on the “wall” in a couple of seconds.

On the other hand, you can use your own social network service by clicking on the "Music" button in the left panel (applications section). Third-party add-ons in the form of programs like Spotify and Earbits are responsible for this. How to add music to Facebook with their help? It's also simple. Select a track or album, press the start listening button, and then use the "Share" button.
Note: when logging into such services, you may need to create a new account specifically for them, and you will only be able to log in to your Facebook account after registering in the service itself.
Adding music through conversion
Finally, another universal method that allows you to answer the question of how to add music to Facebook. You can simply change the audio file format by converting it to video.

You can do this with the help ofa simple converter that supports converting MP3 to AVI. But for the output format, it is best to choose MP4, since it has a much smaller volume compared to AVI.
Actually, you can convert just as easily using any audio or video editor, and then save the file on your computer's hard drive. As already mentioned, the video on the "wall" is added without problems. Anything can be used as a program. For example, the same Adobe Audition is a good fit, in which, when saving, you just need to select the export function or Batch Convert. You can also use any, even the simplest, video editor in which you need to insert audio into the project and save it in the desired video format.
Instead of total
As you can see, almost all methods are quite simple. But usually, most users do not convert, but simply share links to music tracks and albums, either copying links from the Internet, or using auxiliary services for this. Converting is useful only in cases where there is no link to the track on the Internet, and the original file is stored on the computer's hard drive or in the memory of a mobile device (for example, when the user wrote the song himself). In this case, converting will be the only possible option for adding a track (not counting its preliminary publication, say, on YouTube with automatic conversion).
