As you know, laptops are different. Someone is missing the usual model, which is great for surfing the Internet and working with documents. There are also more advanced devices that can handle heavy tasks. But now the most popular are gaming laptops. Acer, of course, does not "herd the back". In recent years, he has been releasing powerful gaming devices that compete with Asus and Dell.
The company has created several series for gamers. Almost all Acer gaming laptops belong to the Predator line. The Taiwanese company has released some great models over the past couple of years, which have become top sellers and won the hearts of gamers.
Firstborn
Until the beginning of 2015, the company had almost no models for gamers. Each device that had powerful characteristics was usually referred to asmultimedia device. Acer V3 gaming laptops from the Aspire line were the first.
This model was popular in 2013. Then this laptop could be safely called the most powerful from the Taiwanese company. What's interesting is that inside it is NVIDIA mobile graphics. As a result, such indicators are not gaming at all, but nevertheless, among all the models of that time, this device overtakes its counterparts in terms of the number of FPS in the game.
The laptop has a 17-inch screen, which is very nice for the players. Outwardly, it is no different from ordinary user devices for work and office. It has a regular keyboard without any "buns" for gamers. Inside is an Intel Core i5-6200U. NVIDIA GeForce 940M is responsible for the graphics. The video card has 2 GB. There is 8 GB of RAM, which is quite a good indicator for 2013. Although now gaming laptops use both 16 and 32 GB.
The Acer Aspire V3 model looks more like an attempt to create a gaming device. Due to the fact that a couple of years ago there were no such powerful video cards and processors, perhaps this model resembled a gaming one. Now this laptop would not pull the latest games at maximum settings, although it still remains a good multimedia device.

The second attempt was the Acer Aspire V17 Nitro gaming laptop. Despite the fact that this model is in principle suitable for games, formally this laptop is also far from a classic gaming device.
The fact is that manufacturers of gaming devices have long introduced to the marketseveral trends, according to which we can confidently say that we have a laptop for gamers. Usually they develop a system to control the keyboard keys, make a special color scheme, highlighting certain buttons. Also working on the cooling system.
Acer Aspire V17 Nitro doesn't have all these features. It boasts only one-color backlit keys. Although it also has one nice feature: it has a good technology that cleans coolers on its own.
It is also known that gaming laptops usually differ in appearance. Acer Aspire V17 Nitro design received unremarkable, although quite nice. It's lightweight, despite the 17.3-inch screen, and thin. Inside it fit the Intel Core i7-4710HQ, the presence of which already, in principle, hints at the fact that the device pulls almost all modern games. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M is responsible for the graphics. This is a good graphics card with 2 GB of memory.
In addition, a 1TB SSHD is installed inside, a lot of different modules and goodies that, in principle, do not affect the game. Of course, this model can hardly be called a gaming model, but the device really turned out to be of high quality and powerful.
Predator
But at the beginning of 2016, the company released a more successful gaming laptop. In general, the line, which includes Acer Predator gaming laptops, turned out to be successful in the end. And I am glad that the first pancake was not lumpy.
A year later, Acer Aspire V17 Nitro, of course, could no longer compete with new devices. But with the exitAcer Predator 15, it became clear that the company has seriously decided to go into gaming devices. The first thing that catches your eye is the appearance. A huge number of backlights, the keys are highlighted in different colors, and the emblem glows on the back cover.
The island-style keyboard has a numeric keypad and, although the display is only 15.6 inches, all keys are placed quite freely and comfortably. There is a button next to the touchpad that disables it. Like any gaming device, this model has a powerful cooling system.
The laptop has an Intel Core i7-6700HQ Skylake processor. Two adapters are responsible for the graphics at once: Intel HD Graphics 530 + NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M. The video card has 3 GB of memory. RAM - 3GB. Inside there is also one 128 GB SSD type HDD, as well as a 1 terabyte HDD.
Advanced
As mentioned earlier, Acer gaming laptops come in the same Predator line. They are all very popular and high quality. At the end of 2016, another "predatory" model appeared, which became an order of magnitude better than the previous one. It also received an update in technical specifications and is now one of the best models not only among the laptops of the Taiwanese company, but in general in the gaming device market.
The Acer Predator 17 X gaming laptop has become an improved version of the Acer Predator 17. Outwardly, they are similar to each other. The only noticeable change in size due to the enlarged screen - 17.3 inches. There's also a classic chiclet backlit keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad.
Insiderunning an Intel Core i7-6820HK processor. One of the latest video cards on the market, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980, is responsible for the graphics. There is more than enough RAM here - 32 GB. Surprised by the presence of as many as 3 storage systems. Two 256GB SSDs and one 1TB HDD. The communication speed is very fast.
There are also three coolers inside. The two main ones are located as usual, according to the classical design - on the left and right of the body. And the third can be found only when you get to the inside of the case and lift the motherboard. It's hard to say anything about this laptop, as among others it is an ideal model that will appeal to every gamer due to both its appearance and technical characteristics.

Acer, although one of the last to start working on gaming devices, nevertheless, in just a couple of years, it has achieved that its devices are now one of the most popular on the market. The Predator line gets better every year and every model. The developers take into account every desire of the gamer, improve their product to become the undisputed leader.
