Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is essentially a first-person shooter. Here you have to save the world from hordes of creepy monsters that have broken free from an ancient trap. There are no complex logical tasks in the game, all quests come down to a simple “get there”, “get that”. So your task, for the most part, is only to methodically shoot opponents.
But do not think that the passage of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is a light jaunt. After all, most monsters are dangerous, besidesthere are really a lot of them. Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter will start from this location, and 7 secrets are hidden here. To find the first one, turn right from the starting point and walk to the corner of the wall. Here is a Colt pistol. Return to the starting point and go forward. Then go up a tier and turn right. Walk along the ledge and jump onto the platform behind the corner platform. The second secret is hidden here - a rocket launcher.
Find the same ledge on the opposite side and also go along it and jump down to the platform. Ammunition is hidden here (third secret). To open the fourth secret of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, go up to the top tier and reach the right corner. Behind the retractable wall is a double-barreled shotgun.
Go down to the lower level and find the stone door on the left. Blow it up with the rocket launcher and you'll find the fifth secret, and with it the Croteam staff. On the opposite side is the same door. You don't need to blow it up, because it will open itself. Croteam fans hid behind her.
The last secret lies far awaydesert, next to a lonely palm tree. Here you can replenish your he alth and ammo.
Sand Canyon
In the Sand Canyon location you can find 6 secrets. First, run through the valley, and climb the mountain next to the door. A sliding wall will open (first secret). Immediately walk up the slope and jump over the hill. This is how you find the second secret. The hidden warehouse with the Thompson submachine gun is located in the room with the toads. You will find it to the right of the entrance.
In the next room, find the jump device. Thanks to him, you will reach the column standing next to the entrance. Here lies the fourth secret - armor. Nearby there is a room with a platform and a window (secret 5). You can get to it through a small hole under the stairs.
At the end of the location, near the entrance to the tomb, the last secret of the level is hidden. To get to it, follow the path on the left side of the mountain and climb onto the roof.
Tomb of Ramses
Eight secrets are hidden in this level of Serious Sam 2. To find the first one, go up from the starting point to the hall with several entrances. Then go right and climb onto the balcony of the next room. Drop down from it to the ledge and collect the ammo and armor.
The second secret is hidden in a narrow corridor with two drop down partitions. The secret passage is behind one of the walls on the right side. And right next to one of the beams under the ceiling is he alth (secret 3).
To open the next secret, turn left in the room with two stairs, where they fly in the airiridescent lights. Climb up to the left platform and jump down onto them. This teleport will take you to the fourth secret. And immediately after the jump you will find a rocket launcher.
In the next large room of the tomb, climb up to the upper levels. Follow the square platform in the center of the hall and jump from it to the bridge. The sixth secret is hidden here - he alth.
In the hall, where there is a lot of shotgun shells, there is a secret narrow passage. But it will be opened if you first take the armor plate at the entrance and defeat the archanoid.
To find the last secret of this level in Serious Sam 2, walk along the wall of the secret passage. At the end you will find a shield.
Valley of the Kings
There are four secrets to be found in this level of Hard Sam HD: First Blood. And some of them are interconnected. So, you need to destroy five statues of Amon. And you will find the first one right at the entrance to the location. And the other four are in the last room with the artifact.
To reveal the second secret, find a jump device in the room with jumping toads and a glowing pyramid. It is located behind a closed door in the corner of the platform. This will get you to the beam under the ceiling and find the armor.
Go to the end of the level in the flooded cave, turn right and follow the edge of the cliff. If you opened the first secret, then a teleport will appear ahead. Otherwise, you will have to blow up the stone mound to reveal the third secret.
Enter the teleporter and it will take you to the far side of the cliff. Gothrough a dark door, and you will find yourself in a secret level of the game.
Mountains of the Moon (hidden location)
There are seven hidden secrets in this secret level of Hard Sam HD: First Blood:
- On the fourth island, pick up on the edge of the bullet to the machine. Armor will appear immediately.
- On the fifth island, drop down to the ledge behind the waterfall.

- Go along the opened secret corridor, and through an invisible teleport you will be taken directly to the end of the location. Thanks to this cache, you will immediately complete the level, avoiding the final battle.
Oasis
There are 6 secrets to be found in this level. At the beginning of the location, jump behind the waterfall and it will lead you to a small cave (1). Find a stone statue in the first hall of the sanctuary and pick up a pill (2) to the left of it. It activates the next two secrets. In the same room, break the statue, this will open a secret entrance (3). To fall into it, jump onto the platform on which the statue stood. Here lies the jumping device, whichtakes you to the door (4).
To open the entrance to the secret passage, find the hidden wall on the left side of the room with the toads. By blowing it up, you will solve the fifth secret. But do not rush to immediately pick up the trophies, but try to bypass them and get to the wall. This will push you back into the room where additional enemies will spawn (6).
Dunes
There are 7 secrets hidden in this location. And the first of them lies on the left side of the entrance to the ancient city among the dunes. To open the second, break the palm tree that grows near the city wall, to the left of the entrance. The third secret is hidden in the desert among the dunes, on the right side of the entrance. Go a little further and near the city wall you will find a pill. This will be the fourth secret.
To find the fifth, secret oasis, go to the right side of the entrance to the city to the palm trees. Do not rush to leave the location, because sometimes this secret does not count. If this does not happen, then run along the border of the green zone around the palm trees. You will receive a message about finding a secret oasis.
Next, go to the left corner of the town square. There is a platform that you can jump onto with a rocket jump. Here you will find the sixth secret.
The last cache of the level is hidden in the left corner of the town square. Find a platform there and jump onto it with a rocket jump. And immediately jump off, as it will explode after a few seconds. He alth can be found in the debris left by the platform.
Memphis suburbs
There are 7 caches in this location. To open the first secret of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter in the suburbs of Memphis, go to the residential complex and find the passage between the houses, on the left side against the wall. Nearby stands a palm tree, blocking the passage. Break it (2).
The next secret (3) is in the left passage, near the second residential complex. Trophies are hidden in the far right corner (4). But as soon as you take them, mechanoids will appear on the roof. It is better to destroy small ones with a rocket launcher, but against a large one, use a minigun.
To the left of the closed door of the second residential complex is a house. And next to it lies he alth (5). To the right of the closed entrance of the second residential complex lies an armored plate (6). As soon as you pick it up, new enemies will appear. You can avoid the attack if you quickly pick up the trophy, and after running out of the trap, turn right towards the door.
The last secret is hidden in the well, which is located at the end of the second residential complex. To pick it up, falling down, stick to the wall. This will take you to a ledge where there is armor and he alth (7).
Sewerage
There are 5 secrets hidden in this level of the game. To find the first one, find the secret passage in the pond where the location starts. The second secret is a shield, hidden at the bottom of the second pond. Above this lake in the center there is a beam where the armor (3) lies. To climb it, climb onto the platform on the top tier.
Go to the room with holes in the walls and go down to the lower level. In the floor you will find a flooded hole that leads to a strange place where there is no gravity (4). The last secret is hidden inthe place from which a long swim begins along the flooded corridors. When enemies appear from the tunnel, a wall falls nearby. But after 10 seconds it rises back. And you need to have time to get to the platform behind it (5).
Memphis to Metropolis
There is only one secret in this location. To find it, turn right. When you go out into the streets of the city, you will see a door next to you, and a wall next to it. Blow it up and take the cannon and cannonballs to it.
Alley of Sphinxes
There is only one secret here. To find it, go from the beginning of the level to the left. And far away in the desert, find a lonely palm tree. There is ammo near the tree.
Thebes – Karnak
There are 8 caches hidden in this location. To open the first one, immediately after loading the level, turn back. Don't hesitate. After all, you have only a couple of seconds to enter the closing doors. They will lead your hero to the yard you ran through in the cutscene.
Get to the hall with columns and find the buttons on the left and right. When you press them, the platform located on the side of the entrance to the hall will be activated. Jump on it and go up to the second floor, where the secret area is hidden (2).
In the pool, get close to the lying cores. Next to them is a network with a retractable floor that will lead you to a cache (3). Another retractable wall is hidden on the right side of the pool. Behind it is hidden armor and an Easter egg from Croteam (4).
In the bridge room behind the temple doors, findtwo buttons on the walls. Press them and you will open a secret passage in the floor of the monolith that stands in the center of the pool (5).
Go to the shrine room where a lot of ammo is scattered. There you will find two pools, and in the left one there is a retractable wall leading to an unusual dome (6).
At the end of the level in the square, go to the left wall. There is a small area here with a false wall that hides ammo (7).
During the final battle in the square, you will receive a message that you have activated a secret he alth. To pick it up, go to the right wall. A small hole will open where you can collect your prize (8).
Thebes – Luxor
You will find the secret in the left wing, in the first hall. Find a building that looks like a mausoleum there, and be sure to pick up a flask with he alth. After that, the roof will begin to fall. Run outside and wait for the process to finish. This will unlock the Secret Ammo Storage (1).
In the second hall of the left wing, turn right immediately from the entrance. Get closer to the wall and find the jump device (2). Use the catapult from the previous secret to jump onto the platform located on the roof of the hall. Find a prominent section of the wall and blow it up. Inside is ammo (3).
In the first hall of the right wing, find four pillars. Two of them can be blown up, after which additional cannon balls will appear (4). In the second hall of the right wing immediately from the entrance, turn left and walk to the corner. Use the jump device to get to the secret area with he alth (5). Next to this secret, findrectangular structure. There is a mobile platform on its roof. Shooting at it will take you to the secret room (6).
Jump into the spiked pit and an invisible teleporter will teleport you to the corridor you saw behind the bars while passing the right wing (7). But keep in mind that you should not repeat this trick more than once.
Go to the small door on the left side of the exit from the level. This will take you to a hidden secret location.
Courtyards - secret area
10 secrets are hidden in this location:
- Eat the pill to the right of the entrance and move on. In a small corridor, do not touch the trophies, otherwise you will not discover all the secrets. Get to the pool hall and break the column in the middle.
- Go to the left courtyard from the Sphinx mechanism. Open the door and immediately run to the rising platform and shoot it.
- Another cache is hidden in this yard. To open it, click on the lever on the far left wall. The bridge behind the pedestal will open. Click on the lever next to it and collect the trophies.
- Go to the right yard, and pick up the backpack with ammunition, which lies to the left of the entrance. This will activate the trap. Fight off the enemies and go to the place where the monsters appeared on the jalopy. Click on the lever hidden in the alcove and you will open the entrance to the secret chamber.
- He alth lies in the right corner of the pyramid.
- A bulletproof vest is hidden in the left corner of the pyramid.
- Go back to the yard and find the platform pool. Turn the central one to the right and go through it. Jump to the wall butdo not press the lever, but use it to get to the place where the archanoid was sitting. Take he alth and return to the starting point.

Great Pyramid
There are three caches in the last location. But they are available if you play Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter. You will not find secrets in the regular version of the game "Cool Sam" in the Great Pyramid. The first cache is hidden in the square, in the central box, which is located to the left of the entrance. To get the second one, take the armor plate that lies nearby. The trap will activate and several biomichanoids will appear. The last cache lies far in the desert, to the right of the entrance to the pyramid. Focus on the stone head. Cheats for Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter
If you want to go through the game "light", you can use special cheats. To do this, run Serious Sam at least once. Then go to the game folder and find the SeriousSamHD.ini file. Open it with Notepad and replace the zero with one in the line "cht_bEnableCheats=0".
