What to do if you accidentally erase important files from your device? Do not rush to be upset: the "recycle bin" comes to the rescue - storage for recovering deleted folders and files. So, despite the error, the documents can easily be returned.
Where is the Recycle Bin in Windows?
After you have installed the operating system on your computer, the Recycle Bin should by default appear on the main area of the screen, that is, on the desktop. It can be dragged with the mouse to any part of the display. You can see the trash can icon in the photo below.

What to do if it is not on the desktop? To restore the trash, you must click "Start" - "Control Panel" - "Appearance and Personalization" - "Personalization" - "Change Desktop Icons". Then you need to check the box next to the "Basket" and click "OK", confirming the changes. Here is another option: right-click anywhere on the desktopclick, then select "Personalization" and follow the above instructions.
Where is the trash folder?
There is only a shortcut to the trash on the desktop. Where is the folder itself? It's simple: it is on the drive from which you deleted the file. For example, if you erased a document from drive C, then the trash folder will be located along the path: C:\$Recycle. Bin or simply C:\RECYCLE.

This folder is hidden and system. Therefore, before searching for it, you must definitely uncheck the "Hide protected files" function in the properties.
Android devices
Where is the basket on "Android"? The Android operating system does not provide a separate shortcut or folder for recovering deleted files. But not everything is so bad: thanks to special applications such as "ES Explorer" or Dumpster, you can recover files that are so badly needed. Both programs can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
When using the "ES Explorer" program, you should remember: in order to restore any files in the future, you do not need to delete them through the standard file manager, gallery, and so on. The recovery process is possible only if deleted through the application itself. As you can see in the photo below, storage can be enabled/disabled at will.

Deleted applications will first go to the trash, and there you can either restore them or clear thembasket to increase the internal memory of the device.
But using the Dumpster program, you can delete it in any manager or player: when you enter the application, you will be notified about deleted files, as well as about the possibility of restoring them with just one click. Both programs are lightweight (about 15 MB), easy to use and have a simple interface. They will help restore what you may have accidentally deleted.
